Painting plus sculpture. During the Hurricane Ian evacuation, I had a nightmare of my bed sheets turning into crashing waves. I subsequently realized that my mind is my best friend, it is also my worst enemy.

Oil on canvas plus clay, gold leaves, and a discarded book on panel.

The figure is permanently attached. The book is securely mounted on a 24" x 24" x 1.5" wood panel. Wall hanging. All ready; wire at the back. I wrote the title, signed and dated 2022 on the panel. Please enlarge the pictures to see the details.

Overall dimension: 24" wide x 24" tall x about 5" deep.

This is an oversized pieced. Please note all my work requires special packing and handling.

Please note that although I coated the piece with UV resistant chemicals, yellowing of the pages may occur over time; or, it has already occurred. It is part of the art.

Note: to get rid of dust, use a hairdryer with NO HEAT. Or, a clean, dry brush will work
